Pampered Pets provides reliable, professional care for your pets when you are away on business travel, vacation, holidays and dealing with emergencies. We care for your pets at your home, where your pets prefer to be. When you are away, loving your pets is our business.

  When we visit your pet we will:

• feed and water them

• administer medication and satisfy special dietary needs

• clean cages and/or boxes to maintain a healthy environment

• brush, exercise, walk and play with them

• turn out horses

• lots of tender loving care

When you come home to your pet, you will find a Daily Diary describing how well they ate, how well they did with their medication, any unusual behavior and anything out of their routine. Pampered Pets can also water your plants and help protect your home by collecting your mail and newspapers and adjusting curtains and light to make it appear that you are home. When deciding who to trust with the care of your pets, it is imperative that you select someone who has a genuine love for animals and the formal training needed to help them in emergency situations. I am a certified animal care specialist, an equine sports massage therapist and have been trained as an emergency animal rescue specialist to assist and implement the rescue of animals in natural disasters.

I started my business in 1997 primarily because of my love of animals. I credit my mom for instilling in me a strong work ethic and passion towards the animals I care for. Before my mom's passing, she would accompany me on my jobs and crawl around on the floor playing with the pets or helping out by washing bowls and cleaning litter boxes.

I have cared for the health and well being of my own animals for over 30 years. During that time, I have gained experience in treating illnesses and injuries as well as detecting various problems that arise from time to time.

Pampered Pets Home Care is solely owned by me, Darlene Ehlers. Currently, I provide 100% of the visits but do enlist the help of other sitters in case of emergencies. I feel it is imperative to have professional care for your pets in your absence
